Doug Heffernan is one of Ray's friends, and the central character of the hit 1998-2007 CBS-TV series The King of Queens, which was also Everybody Loves Raymond's sister/spinoff series. A delivery man for IPS Packaging who lives in Queens, New York, Doug is married to Carrie Heffernan, who is played by actress Leah Remini.
