Synopsis[]
Michael presents a story about an angry family, which Ray, Debra, and everyone else think it's about them. This causes the family to constantly fight. The whole family meets the school counselor and a local clergyman to uncover what - and who - is to blame for the constant bickering between them and Michael's parents.

- The premise of the episode was inspired by a real-life incident in which creator Phil Rosenthal's young son, Ben, wrote the story "The Angry Family" about his family for a school project. He receives a thank you credit at the end of the episode for the inspiration.
