Synopsis[]
When Debra realizes that Ray doesn't appreciate her taking care of all the finances, she hands the job over to him.
Weeks later, while at Nemo's Pizza, Andy tells Ray everything he's done wrong in the checkbook. And because the check bounced, the electric company is shutting off power to the Barones house. So Ray asks Robert for some money.
Since Debra is on her way to the bank, Ray rushes to the ATM to put the money in the account before Debra notices the problems.
Running Gags[]
- Robert does his infamous "crazy chin" move. When Ray and Robert are standing at the ATM, Robert touches the card to his chin before putting it into the ATM.
Trivia[]
- Actor Ray Romano's "real life" brother Richard Romano makes a guest appearance in the episode as the other police officer outside the bank. He was uncredited for the role.
- Before doing stand up, Ray Romano worked as an accountant, so he secretly knew how to manage the finances, although his character didn't.
Production Notes[]
- Amy Crow from the Production Staff got married and changed her legal name to Amy Crow Gardea. The "Production Staff" in the credits shift further from the names in original airings, and opposite in today's reruns.
