Plot[]
Debra attempts to throw a bridal shower for Amy, but it is quickly overshadowed by Marie and her attempts to one-up Debra. After Debra gets frustrated with Marie and tells her she doesn't need her, Marie dramatically exits the party. To cope with this, Debra drinks too much champaigne and decides to rest in the car until she feels safe to drive home. She is then awoken by a police officer who thinks that she was drinking and driving and passed out.
Raymond picks Debra up at the jail, and Robert informs her that though the charges were dropped, she will need to appear before a hearing to have her license reinstated. At the hearing, the entire Barone family attends and tries to "help" Debra by explaining the circumstances to the hearing officer and Officer Keon. Once the officer sees the circumstances that Debra deals with living next to Marie, he agrees to reinstate Debra's license with one year probation. Marie takes credit for this and hugs Debra, who doesn't fight it.
